Completely free for gamers. Create an account, browse cafés, discover events, RSVP, and join the community — no subscription, no hidden charges. You only pay when you book a paid event, and that money goes directly to the organiser.
We launched in Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune. More cities are coming soon — Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune are next. If your city isn't listed yet, you can still browse listings and events nationwide and sign up to get notified when we expand.
No. You can browse cafés, stores, and events without signing up. You only need an account to RSVP, book events, or join the community.
Go to meeple.in/join and select "I'm a gamer." Enter your name, email, phone and city, then complete the sign up with a OTP sent on your email. That's it — under two minutes.
So we can show you relevant events and cafés near you by default. You can always change the city from your profile settings.
No. Google sign up is not available for now.
The Board is meeple.in's directory of the Indian board game ecosystem — cafés, stores, publishers, designers, manufacturers, and game libraries. Think of it as the definitive map of everything board games in India.
Go to The Board and filter by city and category. Each listing shows the café's game library size, opening hours, walk-in policy, ratings, and upcoming events hosted there.
Every business listing on meeple.in is manually reviewed by our team before going live. Verified businesses display a badge on their listing. If you spot incorrect information, use the "Suggest an edit" button on any listing.
Yes. After visiting a café or attending an event there, you can leave a rating and review from the listing page. Reviews are tied to your meeple.in account — no anonymous reviews.
A Meep Up is any board game event listed on meeple.in — game nights, tournaments, playtests, beginner sessions, campaign days, and more. Meep Ups are organised by cafés, independent organisers, and the community.
Find the event on meeple.in, click RSVP, and confirm. You'll get an email confirmation with the event details. Free events are first come, first served.
Currently paying for the events is not supported. You have to coordinate with the organiser for the payments.
Cancellation and refund policies are set by each organiser and displayed on the event page before you book. If an event is cancelled by the organiser, you will have to reach out to the organiser for the details.
When an event is full, you can join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, you'll be notified by email and given a window to complete your booking before it moves to the next person.
Yes. Filter Meep Ups by type — Beginner events are tagged specifically for people new to board games. Organisers who run these events welcome first-timers and explain the rules before play.
The Commons is meeple.in's community forum — organised by city chapters, game talk, designer corner, and news. It's where the Indian board game community discusses games, finds players, and shares knowledge.
The Playtest Den is where Indian game designers post playtesting requests for their original games. As a gamer, you can apply to playtest a game in development and give feedback directly to the designer.
Yes. If you later want to run events or list a business on meeple.in, you can upgrade from Gamer to Business from your account settings. No new account needed.
